Hacker News user kathleen wrote in a thread asking whether Senmium could run on Windows 7 Mobile and Windows 10.
The user noted that if it did, it would have to run on all three platforms, but that’s not what happened.
“The code doesn’t have the permission to run from Windows 8.x and Windows Phone 7.1 to Windows 10, so if it can’t run from any of those, it’s not running,” kathryn wrote.
“So it can run from a single device, but it won’t run.”
In other words, if you have the same device, you’re still limited to running on that device.
“You can try running it from another Windows 10 device, like a Windows Phone, or even another Windows 7 device,” kathy added.
“You’ll need to disable the sandbox to prevent it from running.”
If you’ve tried running Senmione from Windows 7, you’ve seen a lot of users complain that the device couldn’t run apps.
The app could only run from the desktop and could only open files and apps from within the desktop.
Users can download the app from the Google Play Store, but the app has no official support, so it’s up to you to disable its features and install the latest version.
