Dell Technologies announced today that Sky View is “a one of the better apps for web browsing” on the Dell Cloud Platform, a new suite of desktop apps that are being integrated into the Dell Skyline lineup.

Sky View has a sleek design that looks great on desktop PCs and laptops, and offers many new features for users of Skyline laptops.

The app was recently added to the Dell Developer Portal.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Sky View to the cloud and to work with them to help users navigate the cloud for their enterprise needs,” said Paul McDonough, senior vice president of products for Dell.

“They’ve put together an amazing portfolio of apps for a wide variety of use cases, and we’re excited to bring them to our customers.”

Dell Cloud Solutions, the company’s suite of cloud software, is the result of more than a decade of work between Dell and Skyworks, the leading cloud computing provider.

“Our goal was to bring the best and most powerful software solutions to the enterprise,” said Skyworks COO Scott Tullis.

“Today’s announcement is a step in the right direction for cloud computing.”

Sky View users will be able to use the app on their Skyline desktop computers, as well as in a variety of other configurations.

“With Sky View, you can easily use Skyline and Skyline notebooks, too,” said Tulles.

“This is the best cloud solution for your enterprise.

We’ve taken all the best features of Skyview and added a bunch of new ones.

SkyView is a great place to start.”

The Sky View app will be available for download from Dell’s Developer Portal starting at 11:59 a.m.

ET on Thursday.
