The college students in this story are enrolled in online courses, including a degree-granting program.
The school is accredited by the Association of American Universities.
It’s not clear how many students are enrolled there.
The college-based online course at Washington University in St. Louis is taught by a professor who is a registered nurse.
He has been an adviser to students who have had brain injuries and is currently on leave from the school, school spokeswoman Kelly Lassner said in a statement.
The professor was also in the news this week after he posted on Facebook a photo of himself holding a knife and saying he had to kill someone.
“He was being arrested and in the process of being booked on felony charges,” Lassners said.
He was released after posting a $250,000 bond.
